Well either way I'm sure it will end up being the more expensive one. It always is. Hehe.

You need to check plug shape or part number on the sensor ;) I think it is the cheaper but you need to check :y

TIS will identify the required sensor from your engine number.

If your car registration is logged on the Vauxhall database a dealer should be able to sell you the correct one by typing in your registration number.

If you have any trouble with your local dealer contact andyc .

No it won't ;)

And EPC is frequently wrong with this part as well ;)

In my experience, all DBW engines use the cheaper one, as do all post 1998 3.0l (EPC says otherwise).

I always carry a spare if I'm not near home Tunnie's Towing Services.  Tempted to get another so I can keep one in each.

Pedal trick yours frequently (at least weekly), any sign of a 0335, then crap your pants.

Never had a car I could do pedal trick until now, might have a go a lunch.

Although I did see CS has been changed before as it takes a much easier looking route.

Ok the part isn't in stock so hopefully tomorrow.

Does anyone know if this problem is likely to strike again very soon? Is there a trend or is it completely random, just wondering if i should chance it to work and back today or not.

Your call mate but once it starts cutting out it generally keeps doing it, mine did it in the middle of a busy junction at rush hour. Mine did the restart bit when recovery turned up too, most embarrasing :-[

Got a spare in the boot now!
