Your probably only just get away with a mixer on a 4 pot, but as already said really not recommended on the V6 Mig.

neil3l, given your location, PM Lazydocker, ask to look over his (sequential) setup, and what the installation and running costs are - it WILL be worth your while ;)

No - you need SGI

I wouldn't bother about having the mixer off a motorhome... It probably isn't the right one anyway ;)

As said above, a mixer is a bad idea and, TBH, dangerous on a V6 Omega due to the high volume of air in the intake. Plus it will never run properly and may well trash the Cats.

If you want to have a look over mine there is no issue with us having a meet up :y

Thanks for all the replies, was just wondering about systems. I've had two installed by "experts" on motorhomes and both were useless, installed a mixer system myself and its the best its ever run. :y

We'll arrange to meet up and you can have a look at mine ;) As TB said, you won't be disappointed and if you can fit a mixer system you can probably manage a SGi kit, especially as you're only around the corner ;)

Mixer may work on a low reving V8, but with 6.5k rpm V6, you need SGI  :y

I'd take up Lazydocker's offer for a little meet up, look at the kits we are currently recommending for DIY V6 installs.

Most 'experts' make a very poor job of fitting LPG ;)

The joy of the vapouriser I have is the large volume of gas it flows, this with a couple of mixers on the twin plenum seemed a good idea combined with backfire valves just in case! Strong possibility I will take up the offer of a look over an installation  :y

A mixer setup combined with a large plenum and wasted spark ignition system isn't one I'd fancy, TBH. Plus, mixture control needs to be accurate on these engines, and controlled individually for each bank. They work very well on an SGI system, which needn't be that expensive. So much so that a mixer is out of consideration, IMHO.
