Mate's Peugeot 206 cutting out...
« on: 16 November 2011, 17:54:48 »

hi all, as above, her 206 cut's out a lot when braking and changing gear. not all the time but random times.

when she fills up with petrol the problem goes away. do you think this is her fuel pump blocked and is cutting out cos of the lack of petrol getting through?  :-\

cheers folks

The recommended use of a specialised tool is interesting  http://www.206info.co.uk/Forums/viewtopic/t=39356.html  ;D ;D ;D

The faults seem to be in a different league to our faults. Ours are "cambelt gone... gearbox won't shift, diff seized, problems with my bagpipes  :o..." etc, their's are "water noise from glove box,  which turned out to be a head gasket, loud ticking, knocking when turning, no power, crack in front, " and lastly "Found piece of rubber under car - what is it... ".
