Firstly not sure i am posting this in the right section but thought it would get more views here and secondly it may have been discussed before if so my apologies. I have a warning for all OOF members about Enduro 916+ tyres.

This week i purchased a pair at what i considered a reasonable price however looks can be deceiving as once on and after a days driving i was pulling my hair out with the noise ( Hard enough as i am bold ) but honestly they were terrible sounded like the wheel bearings were shot. Solution i thought was to swap them to the front but oh no even worse, so today i put them back on the back the neighbors must think i got a screw loose seeing me do this twice in as many days. Going to ware these out as soon as pos and get some thing better.

So OOF guys and gals take my advice and leave well alone as they are crap. :-[

I have had a few Enduros, not sure which ones though. I always found them to be a good all-round budget tyre myself.  ::)

Been swapping wheels and tyres around between my V6 and DTi over the past few months. Idea was to release a set of wheels to be refurbished that can then have new tyres fitted and returned to the V6.

One thing I noticed is that you don't notice the noise of various Dunlop's so much on the back of a DTi when your throwing it round the lanes, mind you, on the motorway at constant speeds they are just as bad.

Just a note, always fit the best/grippiest tyre to the rear, always. Reguardless of noise.

You "may" find the noise subsides with use, possibly as the tread blocks wear flat if previous car had a toe issue, or just as they supple up after a bit of use. Although they could just be worse than useless as you say.

If the noise subsides with time and ware then i may be more for giving but for now i cant big these tyres up at all thank god for the radio even if it's Cliff and his Xmas carols.

A lot of budget tyres are noisy.
