they have teachers  70cl at my local  coop store at £11
grants 50cl £9 at tesco
glenfiddich £8.99 2 small bottles and a hip flask at aldi

ive got to buy 2 bottles of wiskey for 2 diffrent people
budget is  up to 15 pounds
what do you recommend as i know nothing about whiskey.

I'm amazed you don't starve TB....you don't seem to have any shops near to you....

Swindon has co-ops everywhere and two Lidl's  :y

Asda are doing Jameson, Bushmills and Aberlour( nice drop) for £15 at the moment, all much better than Grouse etc

We have a poxy little Tescos for scotes like me, and a poxy little Waitrose for the wannabe toffs.

I think she occasionally goes into the big city to shop - Banbury.

Aberlour, Balvenie, Oban are fine wee drams.

I wouldn't clean my alloys with Grouse...........

Low flyer (ever seen a grouse fly?) is the popular bar choice round my neck of the woods, followed by Bells. To me, its cooking whisky or ideal for the base of a man flu hot toddy. 

Some die hards also favour Cameron Bridge ( a grain whisky) but I wouldn't use it to strip
varnish, let alone make a hot toddy!!   ;D
