One goes and another comes with Bonnet problems
« on: 24 November 2011, 13:42:37 »

Afternoon people,

I've just sold my 730Ld and instantly had delivered another BMW 730Ld SE, in black, however this time with black leather. Anyway, I've come across a problem straight away, it's done 60,000 miles, and it's in a bit of a sorry state, but for the price, I'm extremely happy. The main problem I've got is the bonnet won't open, and I need to check everything out, vin number etc. Now I know the oil is fine, because it's all digital on the i-Drive, but I need to get this sorted ASAP, luckily I've had it delivered on the basis that if I get the bonnet open and everything is ok I have it. So I'm stood outside my house like a plum bouncing on the bonnet whilst my son pulls from inside, people are looking at me strange too and it's bugging me  ;D Anyone know how I can get in there?

Bag of shit is beginning to get on my nerves now  >:( I'm trying to think how I can possibly get in there without removing things like the front bumper, I could access via the wheel arch trim I think, but it's double latched and one side, you can't get your hand up I don't think  :-\

Cant comment on the BM, but strangely Ive had to get in three Migs with broken bonnet straps this year now, even made a bonnet popping tool but still means braking the front grill.

Once I've sorted the wheel wobble, you're welcome to come and have a drive :y

I've got it anyway, and for the price I actually paid I'm totally shocked, I thought the last one was cheap  :D :D

Lol, if you knew how that worked you would not have nearly as much faith in it!
