Is the leak all sorted now?

Yes all seems good - thanks for your efforts too :y
Excellent news - that was the last remaining niggle on your 2.6?

The main one yes (2.5) - There is a slight tappety noise from cold for a few secs. but doesn't come from lifter area :-\ but nothing major and also poss. diff. whine (need new pinion seal) but the fluid level is ok and it could be down to the autoguard tyres that i have.

It would take a braver man than me to say i have no niggles on the car ..... that's just tempting fate!

Worth a tub of Wynns when you next do oil change (do it at oil change, so it can stay in for the longest time possible), see if that helps with lifters.  Could potentialy be manifold gasket, which is a bit more challenging.

Thanks for advice will do it, the funny thing is it doesn't seem to come from lifter area. Was thinking i could clean the pickup pipe one day. Fingers crossed it's not manifold gasket.
