I used it on my old Carlton 6 pot...... Immediate difference in quietness (top end) and ecomomy. After oil change added again and engine stayed quiet, however at next service (oil change) I did not have any to hand and the engine returned to previous state, bit rattly and economy down slightly.

The people that sell it (agents) really believe in the product (well they would wouldn't they!)
I don't think it's that expensive to try it out.

All snake oil or worse, IMHO. Everything that needs to be in engine oil is already in a decent quality oil.
