SWMBO an Accounts Clerk who is doing maternity cover at the moment after her last company went under was going to lose her job in January.
With the current economic climate it wasn't looking good, and I need someone to keep in the style to which I've become accustomed to in my retirement :D.

Well she has just sent me an EMail :-

"David asked me what I was going to do after leaving – and he said that I could have my job permanently"

Christmas just came early  :y :y

Great news. :y The company I work for has been a bit shaky for a year or two now and prospects for the new year aren't looking good. :-\

One of the reasons for taking my job at Sky was stability, in the private sector its about as secure as your going to get. Unless they decide to our source my department  :(
