I would bet a gonad it doesn't get above 30mph.

Half an hour to do 10 miles. Hopeless heap of shite.

Then, upon arrival, 20 mins to buy a ticket - no ticket machine at Bicester, and no conductor to buy one on train

eh? last time i used Bicester they had two ticket machines?

Don't need conductor on the train, ticket booth at London you can buy your ticket there, before exiting the barriers.

Even more frustrating, despite the hype, the 'event' I went for was a non-event.  So we went to some museums instead.

Give it time.  TB said Guffer's ban would be for 3 days.  Worryingly Guffer says the message he got was that it was permanent....... ???
