A35 Gearbox problem
« on: 02 December 2011, 17:39:36 »

I have purchased a 2.5 TD Auto and the gearbox is not selecting any gears except revers.  i am lookingh to get a second hand box and the breakers say they have two gear boxes both AR35's and each box has a plate one with the mark "DP", the other with the mark BE.  Do I need to be wary of the plate mark or will any Diesel AR35 box fit my Omega??  Your technical knowledge / help would be appreciated.

As long as its off an Omega, and is AR35, it'll fit :y

You will have to use your old bellhousing and torque converter, as the V6 ones are different (all AR35s come from 3.0/3.2  V6s)

it might be age related, if theyre both ar35s off omegas then they will be the same, might be 3.0 and 3.2 HTH

Post a wanted ad in test area, a mod will move to the For Sale/Wanted areas (which need 250 posts normally)
