got my first ever

straight red card playing footie today  a defender lunged at me studs showing just caught my leg and apparently im not allowed to break his nose by punching him according to the ref ;D   so we both ended up being sent off   some of these refs take things to seriously ;D ;D

way too seriously imo...couldn't you of done two for the price of one  :y

I used to play a lot of 5/6/7-a-side in leagues when I was young. Really loved it. Never had anyone dare to square up to me though.

The worst thing is how people seem to lose all sense of realism when they don a pair of football boots.  ::)

webby ive been playing for 30 odd years and ive never seen anyone like this bloke  constantly tackling with both feet up and studs showing  sooner or later someone was gonna get hurt    and used to love playing 5 a side :y

sorry mate thats what i meant.... (i wasnt referring to you smacking him lol  ;D)

i've had a couple of instances where i got slide tackled hard in the shins but the pads always took the brunt and never felt a thing.

the only harm i ever did was to myself.... torn ligaments twice in left ankle and 3 times in right ankle  :'(
