It just boils my pish when clique gets dragged up, be that for an honest aggravation or a fishing trip. No need to stir devisiveness when simple mischief is afoot.....

Yes, I had a severe dose of sense of humour failure when this thread appeared.  I have received e-mails from The Alarming Man and Skyblue and it is admitted that this was a preplanned (between them) fishing trip/chit stirring thread.  Whether that planning was for a simple Chrimbo Dinner mischief thread or more a dig at what they collectively perceive as a 'clique' on OOF, either way, we have all explained our respective stances and as such, this thread serves no further purpose.

I did, seriously, consider a temp banning but that would have been simply impulsive and (perhaps) an over reaction.

That said, this wee story can be considered as a shot across the bows of any potential mischief makers of the future......   ;)   :-X
