Try as I might I can not get the picture at the bottom of this into my avatar, can anyone do this please? I have tried and tried

Go to 'PROFILE' above, then to 'Modify Profile', ten en 'Forum Profile' use http://i190.photobucket.com/albums/z257/belisensis/Vanhelsing80x100.jpg where it says 'specify your own profile' & click the applicable box.  :)

Not trying to hi-jack the thread but can anyone help me out also. trying to get this as my pic. no matter what i copy and paste in to the avatar link i have no joy?

You could save this resized one below to photobucket and use it as your avatar.  :y Then on Forum > Go to Profile > Forum Profile > tick Specify avatar by url > copy direct link from photo into top right box (http:/ from photobucket etc) .
(Assume you knew this part anyway)   ;)

Think that's about it.

Jimbob, there's quite a few peoples avatars that are 120px wide x 90px, the same as Dan's.  :-\

with the old forum software, they were close enough that we wouldnt have bothered.
This current software has the rules hard coded and it wont accept an avatar 'change' for one too large.
IF they had a larger avatar or signature etc on migration, then it was set up to allow that, but it wont accept one that size now.
