Just seen an item on the BBC news regarding a meeting about the crisis in the euro zone. Hotel staff were setting up for a delegates dinner this evening, finest damask linen clothes being laid out on the tables, china being precisely placed and no doubt the guests will be indulging in some fine food and wine later. WTF in these times of hard financial conditions they should be nippng out to the local takaway to satisfy there hunger not running up huge hotel bills, with the tab being picked up by us.
I'm not one to rant usually but this has really p!ssed me off
