Hi all
Have finally managed to remove engine form car an now am going to start switching bit to replacement engine,have got new cam belt but have been let down on the timing kit thingy.Is there anybody in the essex suffolk area where I can beg, steal, borrow or hire 1 from as time is short I am getting desperate. cheers David

It's not usually the belt that fails so this is very important!

Thanks all yeah I have the whole kit to replace as it was the tensioner that failed an made hell of a mess,got an engine off of Alb an now gonna change the cam belt and tensioners ect but I have been let down on installing an timing kit so would be so gratefull if any body knows where i can lay my hands on one.
Haven't actually messed about with engines for 30years plus so due to "drifting" midlife crisis am now having the time of my life again
an must say love this forum an the friendly people on it.

Cam locking/setting kits seem to be a bit thin on the ground in this part of the country David.Might be worth sending a PM to Serek,as I got the impression he wanted to help. He is a very helpful knowledgeable fella,and imo is the chap to talk to if you want tips about making your Omega go faster/handle better etc.
