Benefits office sent me for a medical a while ago. i failed and got a letter saying mt benefits was being stopped. when i rang and asked what benefit they apoligised. i don't get any. i told them they were thick incompetent tossers then they hung up.  ;D
I finally had the all clear about my head last Monday. then after 18 months waiting got admitted Tuesday for the surgery on my spine. so now fit as break at last. and thankfully this horrendous yr is finally coming to an end.  :)

I personally think that 'Blue Badges' are being given out far too much these days.  >:(

Seems that every other person has one now  :o .  Never seen so many on cars in my local shopping centre recently.  True there are a lot of people whom have a serious disability and a badge would certainly help.  But I feel that there are a lot of disabilities that shouldn't be given a badge as it doesn't really warrant it.  Not every disability means that it's difficult to reach the shops, etc.

The flip side is though, that there are a lot of abled bodied people that seem to have a lazy ass and park in the disabled bays because they can't be bothered to walk the extra few yards  >:(

Bloke downstairs from me has a blue badge cause he has one eye. how the break does that affect his ability to walk like everyone else. we live in a world where its take what you can get even though you don't need or shouldn't get it.

Supposedly yes, here a similar system works. Nowadays was a huge scandal lots of famous media persons were touched by, they all used "cripple card" (as it called here) to be helped to park as close to the studio as posssible. My mother who had suffered from heavy vein stenosis and becouse of it lost her left leg had to go to re-examination every year though... :o :o :o

Clearly Ms Mills does need one I mean, she could go out and get a nasty case of wood worm or have a joint seize due to road salt.
