drivers door not opening

when trying to open drivers door recently it sometimes wouldnt let me in even though solonoid making right noises all other doors open fine now #I cant use it at all and have to climb over to passenger side anyone had a similar problem

First thing to try is to use the key in the door manually - it'll be very stiff, and you'll see the door lock pop up.

Correction - you may see the door lock pop up, but it might unlock anyway... ;) :y

correct first time tried with key turned it clockwise when rest of doors open and well as my door showing it was open it did open but now the key will do everything it should but the door will not open.
like I have said originally the solonoid is operating the knob correctly but it just doesnt open

What's the temperature up there? If it was damp when you shut the door, and it's now well below zero, then the door may be frozen shut :-\

BUT and it is a big but, I'd have thought that would affect all the doors equally :-\

Need to know how to get door open to establish whats wrong I am almost certain it has deadlocked the only way in seems to be to destroy door card is this the case? if so does anyone know where can I get a replacement

pull knob up and pull door handle from inside at same time might let you open door then.. might.
