Hey ppl. Im new to this site and my Catera and im looking for some info- help

here it goes!!

I bought this 2000 Cadillac Catera (Omega) 2 weeks ago knowing the car had some issues.

45k old lady miles. power everything

ok so #1 the main problem is the speedo doesnt move. why? where do i start??

2 the traction control light is on along with the ABS

I have 1 engine code, Transmission control module

other then that, the car runs supper good, and everything works.

ABS module is fubar.

Have a rummage through the Omega General Help/Elctrical Help  The issue, and solution are well documented

Just to confirm what taxi al has said, a knackered ABS ECU will cause ALL of the problems you have described.

If you were to post up the "ident", then some of us this side of the pond could have a look to see if we have a replacement.
