running lumpy

hi ive not long since got my 2.5 v6 omega then did over 2000 miles in it but the otherday it started up ok but as soon as it warmed up the choke came off and it kept missing when i put my foot down my mate told me its probs the maf sensor but are there any other probs it could be?

Needs a methodical approach

I would start by reading for any fault codes, and pulling out the HT leads, to check their condition, and ensure there is no oil contamination.

Omegas don't have a choke - it's a fully managed fuel injection system :y

A god rule of thumb test for the MAF sensor is to unplug it. If the car runs quite well after its unplugged that will indicate it has a fault. :y
