Under-steer is when the front of the car hits the wall, and over-steer is when the rear of the car hits the wall.
Power is how fast you hit the wall and torque is how much of the wall you take with you.

Stick around Bob. I've sold the Cortina & my son's picking the MX5 up in the new year...both forums were equally slow. I'm saving the money for another classic next year but needed a cheapo to potter about in. Other than the MX5 i don't do small cars....YUK. So i bought a J reg Granada 2.0 Ghia with the dohc twin cam engine & it's a slush box but it's got 2 previous owners, just gone round the clock, 4 new tyres, new exhaust, MOT Nov 12 & taxed til Jan. Smooth, quiet, comfy, everything works, not very fast but what can you get for £375?

   Don't feel bad about the Mondeo!

No chance of getting out of that I suspect! ;D Anyway, I might have sold the Omega but not the Bar-b-Q. ::).......and it wouldn't do to go upsetting Holly Dog now would it. ;D

Yep, hopefully get up to Chester sometime in the New Year and make sure you're taking good care of my baby. :y Might have a pint or ten too!! ::). As said, I'll still be lurking around here - you don't get rid of me that easily! ;D
