how to remove the light switch
« on: 31 December 2011, 16:19:23 »

The switch to turn on the headlight seems to get jammed or something, I mean it's not smooth anymore.
I want to get it changed but I cant seem to figure out how to take it out  :-\
Can anyone help me with this, images of how to remove it would be really helpful  :)

They say to slip a slim knife down either side of the switch & ease it forward, but I find it's easier to remove the D shaped panel from the end of the dash board & push the switch out from behind.  :y :y

Isn't it the same as the Senator Carlton unit, put the switch to sidelights position and use an electrician terminal screwdriver, push in the slot from underneath to push the tab in and just pull the switch out???

I may be completely wrong here so I apologise in advance.
