TID/MID
« on: 01 January 2012, 20:09:29 »

Hello  :)

I have bought two F/L 2001 Omegas, one Sedan 2,2 automatic with TID, and one Estate 2,2 Manual with MID.
I have read that you can put the mid display in the TID's place, and I'm gone move the engine, transmission and the interior from the estate over to the Sedan. Sedan: 250K miles, Estate 60Kmiles.
And will take all the things regarding the level and check control from the estate.

The question is the light bulbs check controll, will it function without any problems, or do I have to move a black box over.
Or do I have to change the wiering loom under the dash? (really dont want to do that ;) )

If I have to change the loom under the dash, do the Estate have the button release for the tailgate? Havent picked up the estate.

Many questions, and hopefully someone will answer some of them :y :y :y

Best Regards Steve  :y
