Ebay Tosser
« on: 19 March 2008, 21:13:39 »

Sold my Veccy V6 sri on ebay on sunday and the buyer arranged to collect today. He eventually arrived three hours late, took the car for a test thrash drive and said it was a fast and sound car. The car was advertised as having no tax he then gave me the sob story that he would have to drive it home with no tax and said he would give me £200 less than he bid (which was £500) because he had to risk the drive home and have to tax it if he made it back. I told him to catch the train home at which point he said to me that i have no heart!!!!! Needless to say i am still the owner of a veccy and the t**t got a peice of my mind and very nearly a peice of my right hand too.
I am very pi**ed off  >:( >:( >:(
Sorry for the rant

Nope, broke no rules at all, the car has a good MOT on it but i did state there was no TAX, it has a new cambelt kit and diss pack and looks a fair motor, what do folks want for £500? It's done 77,000 miles and is good for another amount. AHHHH i'm pi**ed off

I would definitely report it to Ebay as a non paying bidder.

I'd also be wary about letting people test drive/thrash your car, in case they are lying about insurance.
