longest phone call you've made

A few yrs ago when i met a young lady i chatted on the phone 1 night for 6 and a half hrs.  i soon got it down to just a 1min  call or a text messages ;D ;D

12 + hours.  ;D

In the good old days of data communication before the internet. We needed a modem to modem connection from Chicago to London for that length of time.

The first bit of good news was that the call held up for the duration, the 2nd part was that I didn't have to pay for it!

5+ hrs at night. My father nearly got stroke when got the bill. But the girlie was amazing... :y :y :y

Once internet connections were freephone numbers I had a box that remained connected 24/7. If the call dropped it just re-dialled. Oh, those happy days before broadband.

As far as real phone calls are concerned, I've spent wasted many complete working days in pointless conference calls. They really are, IMHO, a total waste of time if you prefer to get on with the job rather than play w*nkword bingo. ::)

i once come in drunk..years and years ago and rang talkabout which was bt's first chat rooms  at about half 12 ish i put the phone on the side went into the kitchen to make a sammich, came back to the living room and forgot about the phone. Watched a film ,fell asleep, woke up in the early hours and went to bed..
  next morning i came downstairs at around 10.00a.m went to phone my mate and as i saw the phone off the hook realisation dawned on me and time slowed as i put the reciever to my hear to listen to it still connected.....noooooooooooooooo.. :'( :'( :'(
  my dad who was at his girlfriends while this was happening was less than pleased when i told him

I phoned my girlfriend in Dorset from Zimbabwe once, and we chatted for about 40 minutes.  My bill for that one call was about £70!!   :o :o :o

About 39hrs. For work.

Some crappy online girls mag went tits up after its database cluster decided to give up. As Kevin Wood says, pointless conference calls so the management can wank 'emselves silly, and prevent those that need to fix it from fixing it.

I have a friend with family in Oz and they have a Skype video-link constantly open......bit disconcerting the first time visiting and as one passes the PC-screen; a disembodied voice says G`day Dib.! ;D

used to have lots of long calls with wifey.was cheaper to marry her

in my single days looks over shoulder had quite a few erm long telephone calls  :P :P :P :o :y :) :)
