Some fit, some don`t. The ones that fit aren`t exactly top quality

I cant recall the specifics unfortunately but there were a few (historic) issues with the Laser kits as I recall.  Something to do with the accuracy of the machining with the actual locking/locating part?  Someone with more hands on experience of the kits may well advise better....

Have used laser and syches and picavant, found that particular laser to fit slightly better re the gauge and cam locks. But both where accurate enough.

I believe laser did have a batch with fit issues many moons ago. No personal experience of that though. I doubt a new laser would give issues by now.

There is another that a local member has. Cant remember the make.

I suppose a test would be to get a few kits together and see if they all fit one engine the same. At a meet perhaps?

Bloody hell Chris I am dizzy reading that, are you a Libra  ;D

Thats is the most complete kit i have seen available. Two cam locks, crank lock, wedge, and gauge are the normal parts with most kits.
This one also has the torx for the crank pulley, and the correct cranked ring spanner to adjust the pulleys/timing. That spanner is ideal as its shorter and less ungainly than a normal 32(?) mill cranked ring spanner which is heavy, over a foot long and falls off the pulley very easily.

Personally, if buying a locking kit i'd be a bit miffed if i had to go out and buy a spanner and torx socket as well. Which makes this kit a bit more economical in the long run.

Although, as i am lucky enough to know a few members with a kit, i personally wouldnt buy at that price....£80 odd yes.  If it was just a bit cheaper... NNNNYEEEA! ;D

There are cheaper kits, but less complete. But you wont go far wrong with that one.... Hopefully. ;)
