Does not appear to be a guide for cleaning the icv valve for the v6 ...sorry if ive missed it but i did look . If not any quick tips on doing so . Does the unit come apart , i have carb cleaner  :y

Unfortunately it doesn't come apart. Cover one stub pipe with your finger/thumb, spray as much carb cleaner in as you can, cover the other stub pipe with your thumb/finger & shake & shake. Empty & repeat till cleaner come out clean-ish. Try & move the valve about too. Then lub with 3-in-1 oil or other light oil.  :y

I'm sure there's aguide somewhere ..........  ???

That will do thanks , long as i cant break it  :-X
Car is sometimes idling low then high . Ill give it a clean then see if it makes a difference .

As Andy says but, with reference to the highlit part, do not use anything metal or sharp down the hole to move the valve as it will damage the valve edge/face and thus give an unreliable idle.   :y

Does this need cleaning on a regular basis , say at same time as breathers . I was going to get a spare from the scrapyard today but they had been removed already off the only 2 migs in there  :y

Seaton mate , both saloons . Nice black one all good apart from stoved in at the front  :y
