power steering pump
« on: 01 February 2012, 19:10:13 »

Just recently, occasionally, when i start the car from cold and drive off, the power steering feels very heavy for a few minutes. Do i have a problem or is it just the cold weather effecting the pump.
The car is an omega 3lt yr 2000.
Any ideas please. :-\

At idle, or across rev range?

Does speedo work at this point?

Hellow The Boy. Its when starting up and driving off . after a minute or two its ok. Its very occasional and can happen any time but mostly when getting out of a parking place.
The steering is very heavy at this time.
I havn't noticed the speedo. I'll keep an eye on that next time it occures.
