All the mountain tops are still snow-clad from last week, though valleys themselves have none now. ???

Yeah, so I see, snow in Scotland and Cumbria by mid day sat, dwn to the midlands and the west by dusk.

Been snowing here its all nice and white. Due for loads more later which is going to make the journey to work at 6.15 in the morning fun.

Was sleet when I walked the hound an hour or two ago but looking out now, its snow.  Ground is icy underfoot and snow is barely lying.  Doubt it will come to much though...
