still snowing heavily here,,   

i have to go and collect no4 daughter from her school show....    up a bastard great big , probably ungritted hill....   (Arnold's Way , off cumnor hill,   for the locals.....  )   this should be "entertaining"


one thing i am sure of,   the 3.2 Mv6 is nothing like as good in snow as either of my previous 3.0 elites.

Started snowing gently while I was doing a job in Harlow. A120 near Stanstead was blocked so thought I'd pop across the A414 and do some marketing on the way back. Started snowing in anger and in the time it took me to pop into a garage and have a quick chat (5 mins max) it was starting to settle on the van Decided to just carry on towards home after that

Not been snowing here yet (fortunately) but is forecast and Essex seems to be getting it already Another fun day tomorrow I'm sure

Oh... And whoever said FWD is better in the snow has never driven my van It's dreadful I'd rather be in the RWD Omega any day

another snowy day   back to home in one and a half hour (normally 10 minutes but 25-35 min at rush hour)

   today when cleaning the ice/snow on windcsreen, accidentally I break drivers side clips
 
loose some time to repair it.. and bought another on the road

We have an old 3 lane road with large grass verges that has been closed to through traffic and by passed. Used to have loads of fun on that years ago with my Mk1 Cortina GT, just throw it around, the worst that could happen was that you got stuck in the grass verge Like the large car park idea as well, done that a few times over the years, as long as you know it is one without kerb stones dividing it up....

Aw I suppose I could take the MR2, that has summer tyres on it.. although it currently also has no number plates attached
