Hi ya fellas,

Ok I've put plenum back and everything on project car. going to start her up in a minute. Here's a pic pf the engine. Anyone notice anything untoward straight away?

Only 2 issues that I have noticed:

1. The throttle cable...when you pull it back (as if you were going to rev it) BOTH the cable go slack and then slowly draws back. is this ok? heres a pic of the slack cables

2. The coolant pipe that attaches to the plenum and sits right near the ICV won't go all the way on. i've tried and tried but it's about a cm off. most of its on. will this be ok?

cheers all :)

Looks ok mate , mine has the slack on the cable as well , you need a black plug for the plenum  ;)

Where's your cable tray  :-\ cant see it connected .... well done , now fire it up  :y

Absolutely not wanting to nit pick, cos I'm sure you've done a great job... :y but seeing as you're asking for constructive criticism..... the main servo to plenum vaccum pipe needs re-routing :y

Also, not a biggie - but I can't see the cable tray brackets connected to the plenum, on the passenger bank...

The slack cables will be normal if you're opening the throttle by hand from the engine bay as the slack isn't being taken up by the accelerator pedal, or cruise control box, if fitted
