I think Serek ran a lighter flywheel (from C20XE IIRC) in his car anyway, but if you want a bespoke lightweight flywheel let me know, as I have a contact at TTV Racing, who specialise in flywheels.

Thanks T. I have an LSD in the garage. Suppose I should check what ratio it has. Presuming 4.22 or whatever it is. As opposed to 3.9.

I must admit I never thought I'd see you convert yours to a manual. As much as I love my manual 2.6, the manual Omega box isn't great.
I've got an ex TVP manual 3.2 estate if you want to blast around in one for a bit, check compatability of parts etc.

Check the diff ratio carefully. Manual boxes are geared shorter than auto, so with the same diff it'll be shorter gearing. With a 3.2 I'd say a 4.22 diff would be too short. 3.0 manuals had 3.7 and were still geared shorter in 5th than an auto, not that that's necessarily a bad thing unless hitting the rev limiter before 150 MPH is a show stopper.

a 3.2 auto has 3.9 diff by default, so I'd try it with that at first, then see which direction you want to go for an LSD.

as 2.6 are fitted with R25
3.2 have R30 gearbox that shoud have 5 th gear longer.

Hmmm. 4.2 dif currently. Suck it and see.

First glance at speed range chart suggests 4.2 gives 25mph in first,with top wack at 140, which sounds a bit short...  but then 3.9 gives 27 in first and 150 top wack.

Acceleration will be good but changing gear in quicker succession might be tiresome. I guess we'll have to see.

I do miss blipping on down changes.

what I like with 4.22 diff car go on every gear same from 0 to 140+ speed just keep going
with 3.9 diff will go over 150 easy , but where you going to drive this sort of speed in uk?
