Mine was £700 last year, TPF&T .. moved companies this year and it's ~£400 fully comp with 2yrs NCB (14yrs on my other car). Not a bad deal for a whippersnapper like myself, I thought!

;D LOL you wish, they probably charge you more cos you been driving too long ::)  I have 34 years NCD and only ever had 9 recognised, damn rip-off merchants all of 'em  >:(  glad Im not in my 20's still wouldnt be able to afford to drive a moped  :P

As for Saga, never had a decent quote off them ever ? Gone with Tesco's again £280 with the credit charge over 10 months made it £320  :y last rip off brokers charged me £28 + for 1 week for the Omega while I sold my Volvo, then I found out the actual company charged £15 the rest was admin, lol. So I cancelled early one month to go, had £18 to come back but got £3, yeah you guessed, admin charge, no idea how they worked it out to be £18 for one month as my premium was £560 grrr  >:(  :'(  that reminds me gotta ring em up for an explanation  :o

I was quoted £170 for the MV6, but it went up around £15, as I swapped all the NCD entitlements around to get an overall cheaper quote for the 3 cars combined (around £700).

New cars are often cheaper to insure. Understand its all based on risk, which is all based on stats.  Brand new Polo is less likely to be ragged about by a spotty youth than a £300 KA ;)
