...by In 'n' Out. New spring needed drivers' side.

they've quoted £100 for parts and labour. Is that too much?

reasonable, but replace suspension components in pairs, so change the passenger side too  :y

Replacing rear springs, especially on a FWD, should take no more than 1 hour (less than that on a lift TBH) so depends how much extra they want to sting you for the other side ;) £100 is a pretty good price if that's supply and fit, but I expect it will be a cheap, no-name spring ;)

Quite likely. I priced up a pair for the back of her Astra G a few years back, Vx wanted £160-odd for the pair. I bought a pair of pattern for less than £40. For the amount & type of driving she does, the pattern were plenty good enough.  :y

i've advised her to get a pair done and she's going to her garage next to her work for a quote :)
