I was just telling the better half about the recent post on here about the reported case where a young lad's parents got called into school over a "racist incident" because her son asked a black/coloured lad if he came from Africa or not. She laughed and said she could top that as our neighbour had just told her about what had happened to her car mad 3 year old today at pre-school. Apparantly he had told his classroom assistant that he was getting a new Lewis Hamilton car. She asked him what colour Lewis Hamilton was, he said "black", thought for a bit longer then said "black and yellow" (because he was actually thinking about the colour of the toy car as its got a yellow stripe, not about mr Hamilton). Mum then got called in to discuss this "racist" remark!!FFS, even if he had been thinking about Lewis the person, could he or could he not be described as "black" as opposed to "white" (yes, I know that he is "mixed race" but you get the point surely)?
