Have you fixed what caused it to come on?

Hi , the warning light came on after I had removed the air-bag and steering wheel to gain access to the dashboard display, when I re-fitted everything the warning light stayed on,I have double checked that everything is wired and plugged in and yet the light maintains its eerie glow.

You must have turned the ignition on whilst the airbag was disconnected then ..... that will require a Tech2 reset if memory serves me well .. :(

the question is why  :-\ :-\ :-\

the clocks come out without removing steering wheel  :y

if you didnt turn ignition on whilst airbag was out then you havent plugged it back in properly when you put it back together, it will now need a tech2 to turn off light that is if you have found and put right what you have done wrong im afraid  :y

Thanks for the input,I did indeed turn on the ignition whilst the airbag was removed as for removing the steering wheel in the first place all I can say is I was only following orders(Haynes Manual).

Might be better to nip over to Brackley and see The Boy.Its not that far from Herts. and you can have the light turned off,and also have the other systems on the car checked via tech2 while your there. ;)
