So would the oil drip and heated seat issues drop it a huge amount?
I would love to get about £1000 for her.

Thanks JimBob, Im sure that one has less than 144,000 on it and it probably doesn't have an oil drip either.  ;)

Omega General Help / Approximate Price Guide Please
« on: 15 February 2008, 14:27:30 »
Hi
I am selling my 3.0 Elite next month and would love to know how much I should get for it.
It is a 1999 Elite with MOT til December. It has all the usual extras, leather, xenons, cruise, climate, elec seats, elec windows x4,heated seats, rear blind, self dip rear view, Bose sound, Sat Nav with 2006 disk, 144k on the clock.
Couple of niggles, tiny leak from rocker cover only loses a few drips a month, apparantly this is common. Drivers seat doesn't heat up. Bulb is out in dash.

So what do ya reckon I need a few ideas from the experts but whatever you say I will probably sell for in the for sale section shortly.

Omega General Help / Weird!!! HRS & Radio PRoblem
« on: 21 September 2007, 09:25:52 »
Really weird this...
If I push the heated rear screen button, I lose all FM radio stations, I do notice a clicking sound coming from the dash and the digital display dims slightly. Turn it off and all the stations come back.

Any ideas???  :-/

OK guys, I've found this metal unit in front of the NSF wheel... It has rubber hoses coming from it, right???

Is there a simple electrical connector that I can disconnect or a fuse I can pull??

Mine makes this sound whether it's hot or not. Its the first time I turn the key, then goes after about 20-30 seconds.

I'm sure Im paranoid... So I've had the Elite for a week now and every little ratle or noise worries me.
Anyway...
When I first start the car I get a noise coming from under the bonnet that sounds like some sort of pump spinning or an electrical motor of some sort after about 30 seconds it stops. Any Ideas??????????????

Omega General Help / Sat Nav Disc - Which One????
« on: 21 July 2007, 11:26:22 »
Which disc would work in my 99 Elite? It has a disc player/reader in the boot and the disc that is in there at the moment is a 2000 Navtech disc. Because it's old there are loads of roads missing (including mine)
There are discs on Ebay but I dont know if the 2006 or 2007 discs work in the old units?

Just noticed James is in Cheltenham... A bit far me thinks.

If I go to the breakers today which part is most likely to need replacing???
