Omega General Help / guessing game
« on: 12 June 2009, 17:34:38 »
As stated in a previous thread I thought i had "blocked breather misfire syndrome "
plugs now changed and all engine sensor connections cleaned = car running clean and quick for about 10 minutes
Misfire back with a vengance  mechanic  says it could now be one of the Lambda sensors or a blocked cat as one cat hot one stone cold
Any Ideas  car is a w reg 2.5 v6 on 79000 miles auto

Omega General Help / misfire woes
« on: 08 June 2009, 19:41:47 »
My mig decided to start misfireing today
looking at the engine drivers side bank plug 1 and 2  are filled with oil
i presume its blocked oil pipe causing pressure to blow the cam cover gaskets
how much is a fix on this ?
I'm kind of thinking i'll take sensible offers to take it off my hands
its a 2.5 v6 w reg with just shy of 80,000 on the clock
Regards
Ian

I took my 2.5 v6 gls for a service yesterday and when i left the spanner monkey said they hadn't checked the auto box as its a sealed unit with no top up facility on it
I dont belive him can anyone on her tell me the truth and if possible show pictures of where the fill port is on the box so i can head back over there and get the service i paid for

Omega General Help / 2.5 v6 auto Brake upgrade
« on: 27 January 2009, 13:26:04 »
I've got a w reg 2.5 gls,
now its my first auto after 16 years of driving and my style is still quite late and hard on the brakes
I was wondering what brakes anyone is running
I was thinking grooved ebc discs with greenstuff pads ?
