I had a similar problem to this on mine. you could hear the radio but didn't a clue what the staion was, was thinking it was buggered and might need to replace it, turned out it was a bit loose, so pushed the unit in a bit futher and it displayed the station. sometimes the simple solutions are the best!

OMG i cant believe i just got it to work by doing the exact same. Pulled the cage out and seated the connection better & it worked.

Sounds like a poor connection on 1 (or more of 3 pins), or radio set to wrong display type (didn't think the facelift ones were adjustable though)

Did radio ask for a code when refitted?

No, it just turned on & played straight away, although with no station info displayed.

What does outside temp show? -F?

As for radio, does display show date when radio off?  Does the date disappear when radio switched on?

The Temp display shows 'Outs Temp F  C'

When the radio is off the display has the date shown. & yes, when the radio is turned on the date disappears.

I only recently purchased the car so not sure on history of radio changes. Had the unit out and all connections seem ok.

Firstly Hi to all on this forum.  

I recently bought a 2.2 Auto (2001) & the display from radio (CDR2005 Delco) is not showing any station info.
It is showing the fuel consumption, range & the date ok, but not the outside temperature. (tried replacing the sensor under the front bumper but this never worked)

I can live with the outside temp not showing but the lack of radio station info is driving me nuts.  :-?

Any help would be appreciated.

Can anyone point me in the right direction for locating the O2 sensor (Bank 1 Sensor 2)  [smiley=embarassed.gif]
Been getting low voltage/range/performance faults. 
 
Its on a petrol 2.2 auto.

I had the same error on the same engine. Spent ages looking for the sensor which is apperently built into the throttle body.??
Took the throttle body off and gave a good clean with carb cleaner. Been as good as new since with no errors.

Big thanks to all who helped me over the last week or two. 
Got my selector switch changed & all is well with that.
Took off my throttle body & gave a good clean as it was manky.  (used the guide on here )
Once cleaned up it has solved my Throttle position sensor fault issue. 

So, all is well in omega world. ( at the mo )

OK, got the switch completely off. Was giving it a clean with switch cleaner, but there are defo three breaks in the tracks which i assume is a bad thing.
Compared it to the pic in the other thread from above & u can see where there was tracks in the switch.

Looks like its a new switch for me

This is driving me crazy.

Just noticed that on top of the gearbox issue i am having, the gear selector lights are flashing sometimes & D and 2 are not iluminating in the car.
Cleaned the selector switch hoping that would cure my gearbox faults, but no joy. (the lights on the selector are still not working correctly either)

Any pointers would be appreciated as i am stumped. :-?

LOL, that points fair and square at the selector switch.

lol, just seen your reply after i posted.
Car will not go in top gear as you said, & only number 3 lights up on the selector.

So.... am i to replace the thing that i tried to clean?? (the gear selector)
If so, how does the wiring come off as i could only get it to drop slightly from the car to allow cleaning.
