force the key, it will turn. just make sure your turning the correct way.
or attach charger leads to alternator cables to re charge the car battey, its said to work on here, never tried it myself.
Quotemight be a daft question but what the heck,when fault codes are stored are they cleared automatically when the problem is fixed,like the alerts to coolant level,brake lights etc, or could you have a situation where the problem is fixed but the fault code is still stored.
It is this way just incase you have an intermittent fault that doesn't require you to have the codes read at the exact second the fault occours, not everyone keeps a Vx (and I use the term loosely (although not all I might add!)) mechanic folded up in the bootSo the ECU keeps them for 20 or so start-ups like a short history folder does on your PC. HTH
