Just make sure you disconnect the battery and leave it for a good half hour before you go near the air-bag and you will be ok.

Omega General Help / Re: Jerking when accelerating?? any ideas??

Plain and simple any chance you have run it really low on fuel recently? It could be a fact that there is then dirt in the fuel system that has been pulled out the bottom of the tank. If so try a bottle of wynns or reddex fuel cleaner next time you fill up, and see if that fixes it

Omega General Help / Re: It's chip time can you help!
« on: 03 February 2010, 21:31:44 »
I have a manual box so a little bit different, but it just made the car pull, it was very sluggish before and just was not what I expected. From now though that it has been chipped it is perfect, just pulls right through all the gears.

Tbh you would be just as well getting the chip as a mapping session would cost you upwards of £150 and the chip is alot less. There is no point in a mapping session when you aren't upgrading anything ;)

Chips are definitely worth it mate. I got mine done just before xmas off of the gent people know on here, and I love it. Although I am getting ideas of seeing if he can find me a more high powered version  :-[ ;D

Mainly because if the improvement was that good with that chip what would be the next stage?!

Omega General Help / 2.5td Running temp
« on: 08 December 2009, 14:11:29 »
Hi guys,

I'm new to owning my omega but I have noticed that it seems to be running very cold it is always under the 90' mark on the temp guage, now every other car I have had runs roughly in the middle of the guage. I was wondering if this is normal for a omega?
