Anyone know any website to get a radio code,its for me father in laws astra,has a vdo stereo,i have chassis number and serial number etc,i know these stereos you cant get code for free,i dont mind paying as long as its the right code,cheers

Hi folks,i am getting the message on the dash low beam fld vision, i have checked all the sensors on the wishbones and they ok,put car on computer and it comes up left hand headlight servo motor teminal 2 and 4 fault,would this be a wiring fault or the servo motor?
Will price a new motor today,are they handy to fit?

Hello again all,i have an ickle problem and i would like some help please,95% of the time when i start my car the power steering seems heavy like the pas is not active,after a couple of mins its fine... i have checked all the obvious like tyre pressures,steering arms and fluid etc...
anyone ever come across this before? :-/

Try disconnecting the maf sensor mate,had same problem with mine,replaced alot of stuff and no joy,pulled plug of maf and hasnt looked back since.The reason you could be getting low voltage faults is grinding over car and voltage dropping below 11 :y

Did you try disconnecting the maf and see if it makes any difference,had a similar problem before and this was the cause :y

Its a sealed unit,make a blanking plate of mild steel etc and blank it off,some people just use carb cleaner or soak in petrol to get rid of the carbon build up :y
