ive installed everything now and gone into the setting and gone to the part where it says gps stauts
and it says
gps status -----------

if i put a route in and flick round the guidance
it says there number of sattelets 0

i sat in the car for 5 mins with the engine runing and it never found 1

any ideas

i put it at the back of the car under the parcel shelf

but i went to kfc last night and had it sat on the dash board and it still didn't find any

ive noticed a bit of taped wrapped round the wire i'm going to take a look at that now 8-)

just had a look under the tape and it looks fine
there might have been 1 tiny strand touching

ive been and got a connector to do a proper job of connecting the broken lead and its still notice recivind any satalites

If you're going M40/A34/M4 way, I'm 6m from Jnc10 of M40 (the junc just before the A34 one at Bicester).  Dual Carriageway all the way as well :)
