this how it came

thats with the 6 pin connector taken off

there is wires coming off the conector and going to the loom for the satnav and the same wires again coming and have been cut off
plus there is an extra brown wire and a extra red wir with a fuse

The plug thats part of satnav loom, don't worry about extra wires on that - just insulate them properly.

The bit it plugs into, these need to be extended a bit, and wired in to the horrid connector in passenger footwell.  Its tight and awkward.

I may have to add an extra pin to that connector so all 6 are populated - some seem to come with only 5 wires, and the 12v is picked up from elsewhere.  I reckon its easier to do it so everything (except the 0v) comes through that connector.

The 0v - I used an earthing stud up above passenger kick panel.

yes, just seen.  Personally I would wire the 6th one through the connector just to make it easier to remove in future, but makes no real difference to be honest.

On a 1994 car?  Absolutely, 100%, dead certain, no rather chance ;D

Connector only fitted from part way through the 1998MY run.  Coincided with when the TC switch got moved from left of radio to main switch bank.

As to GPS aerial, mine wasn't in the loom, so I put mine just above the metal shelf (but below carpet) above the carin unit.

Seen a few speakers fail on them.  If you have a small speaker purely to test.  If it is the speaker, sure Craplins and the like will do one
