Its there somewhere-cant remember where though.
But whatever floats ya boat eh  :y

Nothing wrong with this part of the equation. Provided they are tall, blonde, and under thirty. :y :-* :-*

So just to recap,

Gays will be able to be married in church, but not by a female Bishop :-\

How the chocolate fudge brownies does that work :o

I too suspect an agenda, perhaps just desserts for the vote on women Bishops, or an illconceived attempt to bring a 2000 year old interpretation of the Torah/Old Testament/Koran (and you thought VW invented badge engineering ::)) kicking and screaming into the 21st century :-\

You know I thought about a hidden agenda today. something is a miss ??? ???

The government are taking our minds off something by pushing thro marriage for munchers and biters, debating drug legalisation and the Christmas recess is only just over a week away.

What are they up to ???

I'm surprised at the news today that The Church of England and The Church in Wales will be excluded from legislation on gay marriage and that it will actually be illegal to perform same sex marriage in those two institutions....  :o

To be honest I thought it would be a simple case of repealing or liberalising a few laws and letting the various churches, synagogues and mosques make their own minds up and get on with it....  :-\

I think as usual the government have cocked this up and it will fuel the controversy....  :-\

If I happened to be gay and wanted to get married in a C of E church and found a vicar who was willing to perform the ceremony in his/her church, it'd be illegal!!  :o Forget gay rights where's the freedom of religion?  ???

If they allowed same sex marriage, then they would have no choice but to reverse the decision on women Bishops, and presumably would also have to allow gay clergy :-\
