For me, each to their own, just don't force feed me an opinion which goes against the natural progression of life.

Agree with emancipation, equal opportunities, freedom of choice, etc etc etc, just feel that some things are personal and should remain that way.

If you want to hold hands in public with your personal choice of significant other, fair enough.  Just disagree with the assorted and sometimes, overpowering, effect of the whole 'gay pride' thing.

Take, for instance, the Black Police Officers Association or Gay Police Officers Association.  How much of an outcry would there be if there was a NON Black or STRAIGHT Police Officers Association and if you were otherwise minded, not allowed to join?

The world has gone loopy in its attempt to please all the people all the time and to me, its backfired....
