The way I read it is that the girls will have a choice of shorts if they wish. They can already chose to have a full body suit in colder climates. Let's be honest guys some girls loook better in shorts 

When you're talking about super-fit athletes, the smaller the outfit the better, thank you very much 

Some weight lifters are super fit would you want to see them in bikinis
