Morrisons ok. But wasn't there a shell services, past Preston, somewhere... With gas. :-\
There is a Shell on roundabout just under M6 which is usually cheap. Trouble is, I can never remember which junction (J24 rings a bell). Its near Mancs.  As its not official service station for motorway, its not signposted, so by time you see it, too late.

not to put too fine a point on this....

you get how far on what size tank??

and how much does LPG fuel cost ?

coz the numbers being thorn around do not sound nay cheaper than running my 3.2 Mv6 on normal petrol....
Whilst I accept none of us are angels, chrisgixer really does drive as uneconomically as can be.  There is a strange mentality with LPG, whereby you don't really care about fuel costs. Hard to get your head around, if you've not been there.  Similar to it being the ultimate sin to run on petrol - something I could never understand pre-LPG, but agree with now ;D

The general concensus is saving around a third on fuel costs, approx 8-10p per mile.

The odd thing with LPG, hypermileing makes very little difference IME, unlike with petrol. Don't really understand why - maybe its these cheap Stag kits. Thus, you don't bother trying to play Miss Tunnie type games of trying to get another 0.1m from this tank compared to last.

J23 if my memory serves me, I normally come off and back on there to have a peek and then decide whether to fill there or carry on to Morrisons as said earlier if Im up that way.

Yep thats the one on the roundabout almost under the M6, might be worth a punt as a lot of Shell Stations put LPG down yesterday, currently 67.9 around here, cheaper than Mori's.

Petrolprices.com seems to suggest morrisons is 67.9 as well, although I know that site can be a few days out of date, esp for LPG.

Personally, I'll fill up at home (74.9p :(), then again at Rheged. Suspect I'll need to fill up at way back around the Mancs area, depending how much she uses the car on Saturday.

Did you leave your Trademark of rubber around the roundabout whilst looking for it?  ;)

No, as I didn't get off motorway, as didn't need fuel. However, trademark left at the useless 'tards at Keele services, who had run out. 'tards.

Managed 250 miles on a tank this weekend and most of that was with 1500kg of lattice tower on the back, and 16.5 MPG showing on the MID. :y

Did get it stuck in the field once though. Luckily a TDV6 Disco was to hand. ;D

219 coming back from the Lakes...  ::)

Which reminds me, it ran crap on that Morrisons fuel, or at least that's what I hope it was. Lift off and gear change lag was noticeable. H even commented.

TBE not filled up since Friday (Rheged, nr Penrith), but did leave an impressive rubber mark at Keele Services, in protest of those 'tards running out.

I mean, I know I'm just the stupid kid from the local comprehensive, not a business genious, but in my simple world, the idea is to have something to sell in order to make money? breakless 'tards.

Next option was Warwick services, but seeing as the M40 had just started moving after all the Southbound rubbernecker 'tards had had their fill of nothingness happening Northbound, my foot was fully planted, and would stay that way until home, in order to beat the sad bastards coming out of Silverstone.
