They aren't cheap, agreed. But as for the other comments... Talk time can be reasonable of you want it to be and as for what other people think... I grew out of worrying about what other people think about 15 years ago ;)

I get the handset that ticks the boxes for me... As it stands the S3 is just too big (and has too many security weaknesses for my likings) so iPhone for me at the moment ;)

Plus, with the Galaxy you won't need to use Itunes.

That makes it all the more worthwhile - I hate bloody Itunes!

Seriously though - my missus went through the Iphone phase but hasnt looked back since getting her Galaxy SII.  I have the same phone and will not hesitate to go with Samsung when I next upgrade.

Iphones are notoriously buggy and not terribly intuitive whereas the galaxy is known for it's user friendly stability.

Myself and my missus both have Samsung Galaxy S2's; as have quite a few people we know and I can honestly say that every single person who I know with a Galaxy is really happy with it. My sister has an Iphone 4 but says that her husbands Galaxy S2 is a better and much faster phone.  :)

Probably worth pointing out that the new iPhone 5 will never work on Vodafone and O2's 4g data services in the near future but only on EE (T Mobile and Orange) and possibly 3 if they can nick some spectrum off EE.

So Voda and O2 users wishing to upgrade there 3g speeds may have to wait for a iPhone 5+ or 6, or choose another mobile.
