Byron, do you want me to bring a couple of empty cylinders, they usually go with a bang? I know roughly how long they take to explode get hot enough to make a spectacular finale but will not say on here due to legal safety implications.  ;) My previous injuries experience of this shows that it has the added advantage of extinguishing the inner eight feet of the main bonfire, making it much safer to leave unattended while you sleep.  ::) ::) You do tend to end up with a lot of smaller fires scattered around but on these cold nights that must surely be a bonus as everyone benefits from the warmth.  ::)
I've only done it on the allotment farmland to date but I'm sure that I am experienced enough to not cause any safety issues.  ::)
Won't be long now, looking forward to seeing you again.  :y We won't be able to stay over due to work commitments.  ;) ;)

Safety & Liability Disclaimer: Don't try this at home kids. In fact don't try it at all. It is very very dangerous and is only to be carried out by experienced chucker-on-ers.  :y I can not emphasise that enough, you play with fire, you get burnt.  :(

Exactly what kinda cylinders are we .... err .... talking about Al? :o
.... And yer say that yer cannut stop-over .... am I adding 2 plus 2 here? :-\ .... and coming up with 5? :o

Do enlighten me/us dear boy! :D

So that's how you're funding the accommodation .... ya shrewd Brummie beggar! ;D

Assuming these baps have Mrs AA's home-made apple stuffing included .... then no wonder they're so damn popular.

Hang on a minute .... what about 'our' little piggy that yer promised for Monday, Baz? .... what's to stop 'em Wulfrunian buddies of yours making off a bit sharpish with said porker .... know what I mean? :o

Errr .... I knew that I'd .... kinda 'forgotten' summat :-[

Though on reflection, the hapless yoof petrol station 'manager' next door didn't seem the slightest bit bothered about our antics .... so long as we bung 'im a burger and a can of Stella :o

And the gas works people .... well, Mick our Ukranian crane-driving mucker and his demolition buddies told me that they'd got 'em 'sorted' .... and I do know that they all previously worked together at Chernobyl, so they've a wealth of experience in these disastrous situations matters. :o

Shouldn't be any worries from the bail hostel resettlement centre at the far end of the site either, as all the inmates occupants are away in Kenya at the tax-payers expense on some kind of rehab programme safari. A couple of their lads kindly wired-up the freebie EHUs for the touring pitches this morning, in exchange for some bolt-croppers and a jemmie that I was going to chuck in the scrap bin. Fair play to 'em, they're doin' their bit for the recycling movement! ???

I'll have a word with Mick tomorrow .... just to be sure! ;)

First Aid & Medical stuff: Guffer's our man here.
I'm sure that he'll be bringing his decontamination unit paramedic equipment .... so we'll be in very capable hands .... should anything unforeseen occur. :-\

Some last-minute news etc:

Mrs Seth, bless her, spent the best part of yesterday evening sewing-together a Guy Fawkes .... ish effigy for placing atop the bonfire. Really tested her needlework skills (and patience) to the limit, but the end result was well worth the effort .... as you'll all witness tomorrow! ::)

Been over to the site this morning to have a word with Mikhail, our safety-concious Ukranian crane driver to see if he could lift/position the Guy onto the bonfire. Fair play to the bloke, he rapidly rounded-up Dmitri his Vodka-swigging assistant, and in no time at all, they had Guy Fawkes securely perched in place. We then went around to the Bomb & Dagger for a little session drinky-winky, where the lads introduced me their colleagues Boris and Sergei. Became totally slaughtered absorbed by their tales of when they were involved worked at Chernobyl. By coincidence .... apparently .... they all worked together on the bridge of the Amoco Cadiz too ....  ???

One last thing I've got to do is to speak with that Entwood chap about his valued contribution .... been 'unobtainable' over the past few days .... for some reason ....  :(

Things should really be going with a bang this time tomorrow evening!
